Abu Dhabi Community Games
The Community Games will be a holistic event that will encompass team sports such as football, swimming, athletics & basketball over a 2 day period. Students will attend and participate in seminars on the importance of health, well being, nutrition, resilience, sleep & recovery over a 2 day period.
Students will go on a number of educational, cultural and recreational trips to explore the diverse beauty of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
Event Dates and Duration
The inaugural Abu Dhabi Community Games will take place on a date TBC from October 2025-February 2026 and will feature 20 schools from the UAE, GCC and further afield.
Travel Arrangements
All competitors will enjoy direct flights to the UAE, with flights, accommodation, three meals per day, and transportation fully covered in the tournament package.
Upon arrival, participants will be transported from the airport to their hotel via bus. Throughout the event, logistics will be seamlessly managed, with buses shuttling players and staff between the hotel, match venues, masterclass sessions, and cultural excursions for hassle-free travel.
Accommodation
Participants will stay in 4-star shared accommodation conveniently located near their respective cricket venues. These hotels offer a comfortable and secure environment, ensuring players can rest and recover between matches.
Each hotel provides modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, recreational facilities, and access to healthy dining options to meet athletes’ nutritional needs. The close proximity to stadiums minimises travel time, allowing teams to focus on performance and enjoy a seamless tournament experience.
